Mission économique en Suisse : A real success
From January 22 to 26 2017, took place the first Mission économique en Suisse, led by Québec Chief Scientist Mr. Rémi Quirion. Ms. Nadine Beauger, Chief Executive Officer of the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer – Commercialization of Research (IRICoR) was part of a group of more than 20 representatives of the research and industry communities who participated to the mission, organized jointly by Export Québec/Direction des marchés de l’Europe et la direction des partenariats internationaux du secteur Science et Innovation. The focus of this event was on life Sciences / biopharmaceutics.
The 5-day program, which took place in Geneva, Lausanne and Basel, helped to better understand the ongoing interactions between the academic, scientific and industrials of Switzerland. Ms. Beauger visited different organizations and had exchanges with representatives of companies and institutions as: Biocampus de Genève, École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, Biopôle Lausanne, Debiopharm, Roche, Actélion and Novartis.
Ms. Nadine Beauger would like to thank the MESI for its initiative and the coordination and organization of the mission, and remains convinced that the meetings and contacts made in Switzerland will result in future international collaborations.
