A seasoned project management specialist with a passion for scientific research, thanks to her scientific expertise and experience in the business sector, she skilfully balances the scientific and financial dimensions to maximize the potential of each project.
Audrey Segret joined IRICoR in 2015, where she quickly played a key role in organizing and monitoring translational research projects. She helped organize activities to recruit new projects for investment, tracked progress reports for projects according to planned milestones, and developed analysis and tracking tools.
has over 15 years’ experience in managing complex scientific and financial projects. Prior to joining IRICoR, she contributed to business development activities at Boralex, coordinating with internal departments (development, regulatory affairs, finance and site operations), management and partners. Her career was also enriched by her experience at Alma Consulting Group, (France and Canada) where she was in charge of managing a portfolio of clients with research and development activities in various fields. For each of the research projects she evaluated, she was responsible for identifying them, drawing up the declarations (CIR/RS&DE) in a secure manner, and finally ensuring the critical revision of the reports submitted to government institutions. Audrey Segret finally reconciled the scientific and financial dimensions in the creation of over 200 innovative projects with short and medium-term deadlines.
Audrey holds a PhD in life sciences (specializing in cardiovascular pharmacology) and her research work, carried out within the UMR-CNRS 8162 unit (Paris V – France), focused on the “Implication of the chemokine CXCL12 and its receptors CXCR4 and CXCR7 in cardiac physiology and pathophysiology”.
